Overall:

After watching a few of the videos I realized that this is the one that I wanted to comment on because it gives a good representation of Plato's concept. Although the characters are sound computerized, that it the point! The maker of this video clip wanted the viewer to understand that concept that the people in the cave do not know of anything while they are in the cave. This video is broken down so that if a middle school student watched it it would make sense. I also liked the fact that the person who got out of the cave stated out loud that he had to go back and tell the person that was in the cave. This shows that they are used to their limitations in the cave. It was funny that the person who made the video decided to shoot the other guy. However, Overall this video gave a fairly good explanation of the analogy.

Questions:
The maker of the video did not use much from the actual text. The video went as far as the person who got out the cave seeing the sun and not being able to recognize what it is. They also stick the fact that the person says that they have to go back and tell the people in the cave about what's out there. The pictures look like they were made by a fifth grade student. It didn't have music that supported the video. The maker of the video should have not made the other person get killed because I don't think that that is what Plato was stressing. But the video was easy to understand and made the concept a lot more clear.
